Maybe the only way to get through a match as a Wycombe supporter is to pretend most of the game didn't happen

    Quotes from their report -

    Michael Smith crunching Josh Scowen

Smith escaping punishment for a shove on Vokes

Tafazolli was booked on the stroke of half-time (no mention of "crunching", "shoving" or "hacking"!)

Shane Ferguson was booked for hacking down

    No bias there then!

Why? It’s a fact. Last season in the Champ, as with this season, we had to fight to earn the right to play. When this didn’t work against better teams it was all fight and other clubs forum postings were exactly the same as this thread has been. Last night was two strong and strong-arm teams largely cancelling each other out, with the rider that when we got on top we started to play some good stuff, but that only happened in the second half. If Wycombe had got the upper hand the roles would have been reversed.

Spoiling tactics don’t have to be identical, doesn’t mean we don’t use them. Any fan claiming their team doesn’t is deluded, as they all do to whatever degree they deem necessary. Some very naive views being posted here.

Tbf he makes the game sound entertaining. Even though it wasn't

Nobody who went to the match would agree with that stupid statement.

I'm judging him after a handful of cameos and I'm pretty happy all in all. Scored a few goals, links up well with Smudge, great link up and hold up play for an averagely sized forward, clever, nice touches, in the right places. He isn't blisteringly quick but 100% guaranteed if you were to ask Smudge he would say Grigg has made his job easier. And yes he typically plays 60 minutes but the suggestion that Kayode or Sadlier is a better option than him is laughable. He will get better and better, having had no pre season.

If he wanted to keep playing happy families then surely he wouldn't of been signed in the first place? Likewise with Rathbone and everyone else?

Another wind up merchant, Beaufighter signed to MM 2009 only 800+ posts. He’s having a laugh. Just looked outside it’s a full Moon tonight that probably explains his comments.

I expected more from Wycombe. Ainsworth did them no favours in that they're above us in the league, they have some very capable players (McCleary, Vokes etc with a good backline), and they came for a point from the first minute. Not the end of the world, whether it is out of respect to us or not, I thought they lacked any real intent for most of the game. That is strange given they should back themselves to do more than just keep us out. They did this successfully of course but they were always on a tight leash from the touchline. Again, they're above us in the league, hardly top v bottom. You can cancel each other out and be well matched on the pitch but at least try and win the game against an equal.

    I doubt your integrity.
If you went last night which I doubt you did you wouldn’t be saying what you are.

Lying is an illness. Get some help.
