No doubt about it, we were poor, particularly in second half. In terms of perspective, all things considered we are still not doing badly in as much that we have played 13 games and are 3rd despite having a much inferior squad in comparison to recent seasons. The problem, of course, is that the championship this year is pretty dire and the gulf in quality between it and the Premiership is just growing. Do any of us seriously think that we will be given the money to invest if we do manage to go up? We would be worse than Norwich. Val isn't perfect but even more vaunted managers like Mourhino didn't seem to have a Plan B. Given the quality of players at his disposal he isn't doing too badly tbf. The harsh reality is -as others have said-is that we are an upper table championship side and it will take some drastic change in investment to alter that.
