Best game I’ve seen this year, all the players seemed to have a much better understanding of their roles and what is expected. Special mention for DKE who I thought played his best game in a Notts shirt today.

The walk out of the ground was insightful. Stockport fans directly behind me were bemoaning ‘a game that had nil - nil all over it’.
Then in the train station suggesting they have the most ‘expensive squad in National League history’, and a ‘manager that’s is negative’.
Investment is all well n good but needs to be quality. Quigley was the biggest donkey I have seen for some time.

An excellent performance and the scoreline flattered Stockport, they were second best throughout. We got everything right apart from making the most of our chances, and our only bit of indecision in defence gifting them a goal. We moved the ball quicker and cut them open a few times. Several contenders for MOM, I'll try and do player ratings later. A very encouraging and well deserved 3 points.

What a performance that was, cracking stuff. Frankie Vincent looks a game changer to me, just the sort of midfielder we’ve been after for ages. Passing, movement, and can tackle as well.

2-1 joke of a score line, 4 or 5 wouldn’t have flattered us.
