Well, IMO, their goal came against the run of play. We always looked like the better team.

Genuinely surprised we didn't grab an equaliser. Zander was in good form.

On to Tynecastle next week. Tough? Absolutely, but now they have lost their unbeaten record maybe we can get a result there.

I thought the goal was inevitable not against the run of play as we had made numerous defensive errors before another led to the goal.

I understand the need to use the squad, but could it not have been on another day? I was sitting thinking tombola and looking back over the last god knows how many seasons with that first half showing. But give TC his due, the 3 changes turned the tide our way, only for Zander Clark to show up time after time!

I hate to say it, but today helped make my mind up on Logan and Louis, and i someone needs to be having a word or we are looking for more like Niskanen.

Well what did we learn today (hopefully Tam does too)

We cannot afford to drop the likes of PP and the mighty Finn for 2 x championship fringe players

Smith is not a right back

Like Wednesday we struggle to break teams down who sit in against us, it’s hard for every team though

Their keeper was MOTM but we still should have got an equaliser

We still need an out and out striker hopefully a fully fit Max is the answer cos it’s certainly not Clark and I like Clark

Referees don’t give us many decisions in our favour

The Nichols bridies gie you terrible heartburn, it’s steak pehs fae now on

Winter is here that was f ucking Baltic the last 30 mins

Simple. Wrong team selection first half. Battered them 2nd half. Clark saved them. Next hearts.

Ultimately you have to applaud Zander Clark. Outstanding from him. Could and should have scored, but the way we controlled the second half and created as much was pleasing in part.

Shame for Chalmers. Just didn't get into the game and looked lightweight. I think patience will have to run out with Appere at some stage. Shame, as he should have qualities.

Didn't think Smith had a bad game, but burnt a subbie that could have allowed us to get another striker on.

St Johnstone just couldn't live with us when we were knocking the ball around. They look miles away from where they were. Strangely I think we have more reason to be optimistic than they do after that game!

Max must have 2 broken legs,a dislocated knee,a pulled hammy and shin splints if he can't get a game up front over Clark.......mon Tam he's had his good game of the season at Hibs so it's now time to give him splinters on the bench. We are battering a team in the 2nd half looking for that equaliser and Tam doesn't put another forward on!?!? I honestly don't know what's going on in his head.

Phucknose how we never scored in that second half. Keeper was immense, it happens.

Think that's the first time changes have made a negative difference this season, Appere and Chalmers offered nothing and KSmith is not a full back

On top of that we just didn't start the game the first twenty mins and allowed them to play the game the way they wanted and allow their system to dominate ours, on top of tugs we gift them the flash with Levitt giving a needless short pass into jeando and him getting caught in possession, very good finish from Crawford but still a gift

They offered nothing in attack the rest of the game, we got into the game the end of first half, Clark made an very good save from Edwards header, once we made the changes with Niskanen and Pawlett was a different team, one sided half really and Zander Clark made another 3/4 top saves to deny us, we definitely deserved something from the game and he was the motm easily

Disappointed with the result, the way we started but happy with the second half and but for one of the best keepers in the league we'd have got at least a point

A set back but with positives, roll on Tynecastle
