Just got back and all I can think was - match of
Day will be gutted with two goals like that.

3-0 flattered them first half - don’t know what Dyche put in their tea at half time ( it certainly wasn’t what they had before we kicked off ).

Cornet is a quality footballer ( just like defour was - head and shoulders above anything else - has time - not rushed - wants the ball even when marked and he definitely sees the picture that others don’t .
Pleased for Wood he needed that.

Much better today but why did we take the foot of the pedal. Brentford were there for the taking/thrashing. We must be more cold killed. But it was a good win all the same. For me I would dispose of all the forwards except for Wood and Cornet and bring in fresh legs up front.

with that first half performance...Brentford would've struggled against a non league team !

and I think, If Corneto continues to shine - end of season....there'll be an offer Burnley won't refuse, which is likely what he's thinking everytime he hits the back of the net.
