Id much rather see Bobby and Martin get the chance ahead of another unknown foreigner, because I think that well has almost run dry now and what have we got to lose ehh in giving them a go ?.
The first job is to understand what's gone wrong .

Bobby and Disco are all too aware of what's gone wrong I've no doubt .

The fix is the intensity , the old fashioned battling Barnsley if you will .

The remit is 42 points from 31 games with a very talented group of players managed in the right way .

    Feckin hell .

    It's not exactly difficult .

Ahh that old battling Barnsley tag ehh which our Clarkie always disliked. The press liked to call us that when we had won a game or two against the top teams, and I think he thought it came across in a bad way, and not a good way.

Id say Animal that it is a really hard task to get another 42 points in 31 games, we're definitely up against it no doubt. BUT, like you say the 'battle' mentality is surely there in these players and surely it can be utilised by people like Bobby and Martin. I can't stress how simple yet important it is, to just put players in their correct positions, everybody knows that don't they.. apart from the Schoppster!!.

The biggest loss to the club over the summer wasn’t Ismael or Murphy or even Mowatt.
    It was Adam Murray.
    We need him back.

Is why im praying for Mick McCarthy. Will command respect from the players.. he will bring back kane. Then we will climb the table

We have definitely missed Morris and Dike the two strong lads up front.
    Massively.
But what’s the point of having two strong lads up front now (eg Morris and Obbi) if Khaled has said the owners have abandoned the (successful) tactics of last season because it effected the ability of the club to sell players ?
    It dunt add up.
The summer signings and this season is difficult to understand.

You would have thought after all the upheaval of the comings and going’s during the summer that the instruction to Schopp would have been …….. we know we currently haven’t got Morris or Obbi available but try to maintain the tactics the players understand until the ship is in calmer water.

    But no …….
    CEO gone
    Manager gone
    Back room staff gone
    Captain gone
……… and by the way Mr Schopp I want you to change the playing tactics that were drilled into the players last season.

No wonder we are where we are.

it's going to need a remarkable run of positive results now Animal , Play Off form if you like , at least they have given the next HC a slightly better chance of divisional retention !! Will we stay up ? 50/50 for me , 25pts or more by xmas would help enormously,

Just spoken to someone who says next manager is likely to be someone who’s name sounded like - Gurgling Gerry (Gergely Geri).
    😂😂😂
Which sounds abart reight for Barnsley.

He also spoke about interview with Khaled - and he understands that the style of play has been changed this season to attract more interest in the players - as the club is lining up a fire sale next summer to recoup money spent at the club - with a view to offload the club - as the owners plans for the club cannot be achieved now due to complications surrounding the ownership of the ground.
