biggest disappointment seems to me to be that fear of each other is being used as a weapon by the politicians against their electorate. Used be fear of the foreigner, now it is fear of everyone you meet.

Said that from the start. They made us believe everyone had this virus which was more likely to be fatal than not so we had to avoid contact with anyone or any thing, state controlled fear mongering; or propaganda if you prefer. The truth was always that it was unlikely you or anyone else had it and that it was never as dangerous as it was predicted to be by the scientists. They developed vaccines and now it's even more unlikely to be fatal but scientists are loving the attention and politicians are loving the power trip; now none of them want to let go.

Vaccine passports are completely pointless, in fact they're even more pointless than the continued enforced wearing of face coverings.

Sadly the politicians and ‘so called’ health experts in Scotland never learn.
I enclose the new rules imposed by Argyll & Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) which came into force on 25th October 2021 for people living on the islands of Islay and Jura who require to obtain a PCR test which they then have to self administer in their own home. in my opinion these new rules are crazy as there is a big difference between living on the islands of Islay and Jura and people living in rural parts of Mainland Argyll. https://www.facebook.com/islaymedicalservices/
The Covid-19 virus is currently running rife in the Argyll & Bute Council area yet these so called ‘health experts’ at the Argyll & Bute HSCP are stating that people can wait up to five days before phoning for a PCR test kit to be sent to their own home on Islay delivered by the Royal Mail. This is dependent on the Calmac ferry sailing from Kennacraig to Islay.

had a meal out with very longstanding friends who live in England and have done so for years and years. conversation turned to vaccinations, all of us were triple jabbed, and the rights and wrongs of Vaccine passports. our friends were surprised by the level of covid management we are still using, masks and so on and the topic of vaccine passports seemed to be a point of difference between the two nations. Seemed like england were just going to get on as best they could, whilst the talk in Scotland seems to be that covid passports might be an important part of our future.

There have been comments that people might not be able to carry on in their current employment if they refuse to be vaccinated and that seemed to be both in England and Scotland. There is also the prospect of children being vaccinated and it seemed to me that it might be interesting to learn what other posters think.

All politicians can be trusted to act in any way that suits their way of life etc, but I am not sure that they all have the country's best interests at heart. Was hoping that we might be able to avoid Nicola bad, Boris good type comments, and possibly the contrary Nicola good Boris bad!

Humza Useless and the Dentist have gone strangely quiet about the number of positive Covid cases throughout Scotland being a lot worse than in November 2020.
Last November Angus and Perthshire were placed in Tier 2 whilst Dundee City was placed in Tier 3.
Now 12 months later Angus and Perthshire are currently in 5th and 7th place respectively in list of positive tests by Scottish local authority per 100k people with Dundee City in 27th place out of the 32 local authorities in Scotland.

In my opinion Humza Yousef (Useless) should be concentrating on his day job instead of taking a day nursery in Broughty Ferry to court. .

I thought the point of a vaccination was to prevent the spread of the disease. Polio, smallpox are two examples where the vaccine stops the disease from spreading. Will continual development create a vaccine that kills covid?

It would help if the drug companies developed a Covid-19 vaccine that prevented the Indian (Delta) variant from spreading.
The current Covid-19 vaccines were developed to stop the spread of the Covid-19 variant which came from China.
The production of the current Covid-19 vaccines started in November 2020 which was several months before the Indian variant was discovered and arrived in the U.K.

His wife seems to use her own name rather than call herself Mrs Yousef. I do not understand why Humza Yousef raised this complaint in the first place as he does not live in Broughty Ferry.
The SNP MSP for Argyll and Bute calls herself Ms Jenni Minto when in fact she is married and is Mrs Jenni Wilson.
