Up to the 70s and 80s we had factory chimneys and millions o household coal fires that bellowed pollution into the skies. However, we had less cars on the road and less aeroplanes in the skies back then.
Now the vast majority of coal fires and factory chimneys have gone we now have roughly treble/quadruple the amount of vehicles on our roads compared to back then. When a worra lad in the late 80s/early 90s tha could laik football on thi street. Arta the 50 houses on my street ad say only 10 households edda car. Nowadays almost every household owns a car or a work vehicle. Some households own 2 motor vehicles. Tha couldn't laik football ont streets these days.

Industrial revolution wo start o it all. Tha looks at China nar, its a reflection on Great Britain 150 year agu. Ump**** power stations are being erected, plenty o coil being dug art and folk gerrin a pittance fo doing it. Same wi rag trade. A dunt expect it will change anytime soon over yonda.
