The UK adheres to International Law regarding human rights of immigrants/refugees. We would be in breach of such laws if we towed dinghies back to France. Long term, unrestricted immigration is unsustainable but one must feel for many of these people; how many of us would try to seek a better life if we were mired in poverty, hunger and war? It’s a dreadful situation, especially the goings on with the Poland/Belarus migrant stand-off, which has the potential for starting a war. Ultimately, it all comes back to the fact that there are too many humans on the planet……..

Get your point but I feel sorry more for those in this country who can’t feed their kids or have life saving cancer operations. Poland is 100% correct - shoot those illegals if they break through the wire! Harsh - not really as if 100 come in freely there will be a queue of 10,000 so where do you stop!

Yes I feel sorry for all those in war torn countries but sadly we can’t help the world nor police the world! Why don’t the likes of very rich neighbours - Qatar - UAE - Kuwait help the Afghans? Why is it always the West?

Many are getting sick to death now of illegals and asylum seekers committing atrocities so the simple answer is to stop them entering!!

Yes to legal immigration where skills are required! Why do Australia get it right but we can’t? Do gooders and soft touch comes to mind!

Further developments from this horrific crime is that the guy only recently converted to Christianity. I wonder if the Christian council for the UK will come forward to condemn this attack? No

Anyway, what a hero the driver is to do such a brave thing. I really hope he is recognized for this and if there’s a go fund me page i’ll definitely contribute. This no doubt can be life traumatic experience.

On remembrance sunday as well so he must have some agenda, I really wish these scum could be kept alive/stayed alive so they could be punished appropriately..i’d go as far as deporting them to their home country and pay for their jail term there, im sure it wouldn’t be a nice place.

I think that having your nuts blown off by your own bomb and then being burned alive is the best possible ending for this scum Regis.

As a final punishment yes, but I feel they’ve got away with it easily by killing themselves. This is the same for all those suicide bombers (cowardly acts) because they know death is their way out of any form of punishment.

An ‘interesting fact’ that might give some of you satisfaction is that, so I read a while back, when a suicide bomber detonates his device, especially a bomb vest, the pressure caused by the explosion blows the head off………
