Thread: Derby County Administration Points Deduction Appeal Adjourned

    Yes that’s true

Put £10 on the horse or £100,000 on the horse

Except Derby didn’t have the stake money and bent the rules to get it.

I'm still not convinced these decision makers are fit for purpose. How did Wednesday get their punishment reduced last season? The EFL need to show more clarity in what they do.

Sod who? The club is in administration and will doubtless be born again under new ownership before very long (just as Rotherham has been several times). The people who oversaw the poor management will walk away with probably the only penalty being that it will be a bit harder for them to pass a 'fit and proper' test in the future.

So is it sod the supporters? They didn't cheat or cover up (although they might have played a small part in encouraging the club to do so). They just stumped up for their season tickets and merchandise as Rotherham supporters do.

Haven't you posted about how the club should have spent more to try to stay in the Championship.
At a particular time yes and I was proven right, as we dropped out of the Championship by the slimmest margins. The end result being the club/Stewart lost £5.7 Million pounds in revenue by doing so. I suppose you want to say we'll never know if the gamble would have paid off, rightly so but so can I.

What I do know is if you 'sometimes' fail to speculate you don't have a chance to accumulate or in our case, we got relegated.

This ^^^^^ But thank you Tony Stewart. No one expected the outcome with the dithering EFL.

More bad news for Derby County -

Derby County will be limited to free transfers & loan deals, in the January [2022] window, once again
after breaching the EFL's profit & sustainability rules, as per the " Agreed Decision " document published,
after the club were punished with a 9 point deduction.

Any new arrivals wages, will have to be agreed with the EFL, before player[s] signing.
Salary caps apply to offering existing players new contracts.
Derby County will be permitted to have, no more than 25 registered players on their books.

Summary - With these added decisions against the club, will it deter a buyer for the club, or
will any suitor offer a lower price, than what is wanted, with the club at the crossroads of
    relegation to division one.
It seems Wayne Rooney is still going to stay with the club, in which he is certainly cutting his
    teeth in managerial terms.

It gets worse for them as each day gives by

They should replace Shrek with a sheepdog

They have to chip a dog, can't afford it, someone left the farm gate open, & the Rams are lost.
