Azeem Rafiq apologises for antisemitic messages in 2011 - 'I am ashamed'
So the whole country has felt sorry for you whilst you were tearful and now this! How can he have the nerve to slate others and have crocodile tears when he's as bad!
He says - I was only 19 at the time! Well had that been anyone else they would have been destroyed! Complete farce!
I hope the Jewish Community don't forgive him! Another Dele Ali - racially abuses another guy regarding Covid but if he was racially abused on the pitch the whole world will know about it!
Absolute shameful!
Bit of pot kettle spring to mind 🤣🤣🤣
What an effing hypocrite I for one never bought in to his cry baby shyte he had an agenda imo and now its come back to bite his arse.
Looks like he’ll be forgiven because it was a long time ago; they weren’t so forgiving of Ollie Robinson, were they? Now what could the difference be between Ollie Robinson and Azeem Rafiq?
So he was making these comments at exactly the time he’s claiming Vaughan and others abused him!?
Mmm.......interesting.
I’m sure he was abused but you have to be so careful to be whiter than white yourself when you start shouting about this sort of stuff.
Oh come on you are all being very unfair he has learnt lessons and grown and acknowledges his mistakes
Plus he’s brown the media shouldn’t treat him the same way as Vaughn should they?? 🤣
Absolute wa n k er, if he wanted to be a hero he should have spilt the beans when he was going through it
Things could have been investigated at the time they happened, problem is that would have affected him and what he wanted to do
He’s an absolute a r se hole, discredited completely the message he was trying to state, absolute chancer who definitely had an opportunism, hidden agenda and revenge on his mind
After watching the inquiery on TV I was convinced that Yorkshire CCC are racist and I still am. However, my opinion regarding Rafiq has changed since the incidents when playing for England Under19's and his racist tweet against Jews came to light. To be honest, when making these accusations, didn't he think that his racist tweet could surface. Those who were part of the inquiery obviously didn't look too deeply into his past or chose not to as none of this was brought up at the inquiry. He claims that he was only 19 when he made this comment but most of his accusation also go back years.
