We have a considerable number of intelligent people on this board, but sometimes I am surprised how many people take things at face value instead of questioning things.
People had me down as left wing but I have always been middle of the road. I make up my mind on what I see or hear.
For years I read the Daily Mail, and I also bought the Daily Mirror and sometimes even the Morning Star.
You couldn't get more extreme than that and to be honest most of the stuff that they all printed was utter bollux. But not to those who subscribe to them. You won't convince them any more than you can convince a vicar that god doesn't exist, despite all the evidence.
We were told last year that once we have our jabs Covid cases would fall and we would get back to normality.
But they haven't and we haven't.
Still it's just Des talking bollux again.

    Had my booster today.
Wish my old school mate would have had the jabs.
He told his wife when the ambulance took him away, it's just a bad dose of Flu.
Now he's in a coma and on a ventilator.
For a so called intelligent bloke, who employs 15 people and believes the crap on facebook.

Why do so many people trust Governments is beyond me?? Anyone can research this experimental rMNA jab which as never been used on humans in the history of the world, then one may have a better informed opinion. I will never surrender my medical procedures to any bunch of obese fascists at a shop door with my vax passport because that is exactly where we are heading in which the unvaccinated will be treated no better than the Jews in Nazi Germany.

I have my booster next week but I have always been sceptical about the protection.
My cousin has had two jabs and the booster and still been quite ill with Covid for weeks.
It won't stop you getting it, passing it on or dying from it, so what is the difference? You aren't protecting anyone if you can still spread it.
Pharmaceutical companies make millions out of drugs, and Covid must have been a godsend to them.
I predicted at the outbreak that they wouldn't get a cure, just like they have never got a cure for cancer,Flu, or even the common cold after decades of research.
The truth is it's far more lucrative to treat something than cure it. Why kill the golden goose?
You all have to accept that Covid and vaccinations and the changes in how we live our lives is here to stay.
    Just accept it.
I bet your cousin is glad he had the jabs imagine the consequences if he didn’t

How do you know what the consequences would have been? Its not a flippin death sentence to catch a more severe bout of the flu unless you are over 80 or vulnerable. Covid doesn't even register in the top 20 of killer illnesses in the world.

Tell you something Phil. My nephew's in his mid thirties. He was a personal fitness instructor for a decade before becoming a teacher. 6ft 2 inches and 14 stone of solid muscle.

He was a vaccination sceptic but got double jabbed as he has mild asthma. He caught Covid a few weeks ago. He was hospitalised and placed on a ventilator but pulled through.

Each to their own but he's delighted he got double jabbed because he's convinced he'd have died otherwise. His kids are just relieved they've still got a dad.

I'm double jabbed, I had the flu vaccine earlier this month and I've had my booster today. I also have antibodies from a previous infection and at the same time I'm aware I can still catch and pass Covid on.

I also know that if I look left and right before crossing a busy road I could still get knocked over. That won't stop me looking left and right though.

I don’t think there has ever been an announcement that you take two jabs and you’re sorted forever. I was always under the understanding that there would be additional ‘top-up’ jabs.

I honestly find it bizarre that people are confused by the science given that they aren’t scientists but questioning it as a result. I don’t understand black holes, but I wouldn’t question they exist as a result…

Honestly, do people think there is a mass conspiracy created by scientists who have all banded together and we’ll all die in 3 years time while all the scientists go and live on the Virgin Islands?

Ive come into contact with a fair few who have contracted the virus and simply had a runny nose and a bit of a cough. Ive known 3 people who took the 2nd jab and have since died 2 with heart attacks and one from a cerebral haemorrhage all in 40s/50s. We can all relate to instances concerning this jab.

Ive had a battle Royale with my sons ex who insisted the grandson should be jabbed at school and he's only 11. Ive had to get a solicitor involved to halt this insanity and finally the school saw sense and was stopped. But no doubts his ex will try again shortly. My concern is the myocarditis issue which as affected many young people and it is not rare whatever the media say

Totally agree Phil! Getting kids jabbed is insane in my view unless they are obese or have underlying illnesses. How many fit kids have died?

Symptoms vary but people who tend to get colds and flu always get them but never had them in my life. This country will be another extension to Walmart’s soon - medication for every little ache and fear!

Won’t worry me at Huddersfield in pubs and the ground as you take your chances. I know a guy who dropped dead at 38 - didn’t drink or smoke and was fitter than a butchers dog. Perhaps this is the clue
