The grooming thing was inexcusable of course but as you know yourself not all black people are groomers why should they be tarred with the same brush plus there are plenty of white groomers out there. Are they ok then because they are white?

As for your other comment about shop owners its tit for tat isnt it? Not the way forward for racial integration admitted but on a grand scale it is white owners who own most of the worlds wealth. Power relations again int it?

As for Grist, his comments don't exactly do owt to make things more fair because he doesn't challenge the status quo. If everyone had adopted Grists attitude to social injustice, in the past I would doubt if most of us would have a vote now and we would still be living in feudal communities with Lords and serfs.

He seems to like inequality. Must have some reason for it i suppose...

As someone that has worked closely with survivors of the systematic ***ual exploitation of children I find your glib phrase ‘The Grooming Thing’ appalling and undermining to each of the remarkable survivors and their families.

I now question that you even know what grooming is because you answer a very different point to the one I put to you. Prevent work with vulnerable people that have been groomed to much different crimes to ***ual exploitation such as extremism, hooliganism and county lines.

It’s not a disgrace at all. It exposes what exists in the minds of human beings of all races.

He’s been found out to a degree but he’s simply a victim. There’s been a massive shift in attitude in the last 40 years, for the better, I might add in this country.

I’d love to see how a bloke from Yorkshire would be treated, If he played high level cricket in Pakistan and how he might react to that back.

I’m surprised this happened so recently but equally surprised he signed for Yorkshire again. What it seems to highlight is that racism was institutionalised at Yorkshire and that can’t be a good thing.

Still, why it’s getting more coverage than the Rotherham, Rochdale etc grooming scandals is beyond me.

I’ll continue to take people as I find them and decipher for myself what is racist, what is ignorance or what might be banter from one bloke/lass to another.

Wow all a bit fascist Yak.. So I'm not allowed to have an opinion. The problem with people like yortself is you are told what to think you dont have any choice in the army. You do as you are told to do and do it without question. Its the nature of the beast What sort of democracy is that?

Personally, i don't like the thought of having to put up with any crap I am fed and see democracy as a means to challenge it

As regards the other stuff you mention I think you are doing a great service for society and a lot more use than someones role in say the army to society.
