This is an unusually high number of doctor visits in that period of time for me. To say people can't get face to face consultations is completely wrong, only difference some might find is that you have the phone consultation first then get the face to face appointment, however this was always an option with my GP pre Covid. Neither of these were emergencies so for me personally i didn't see a problem.
Pre Covid I always had a ‘face to face’ appointment with my GP but since 23rd March 2020 they have almost all been over the phone.
People throughout the U.K. are continually complaining about not being able to see their GP ‘face to face’.
This Monday I have an appointment with my GP. It is by a telephone call and I was not given the opportunity of seeing my GP ‘face to face’.
