True, on its own it means nothing, but when there are to many over a season , it is a cumulative effect Swale , promoted teams will only lose 9 or 10 games over the whole season, we have lost 4 now, wheras others nearer the top , have only lost 1 or 2
Yes lets hope we do win on tuesday , as alawys hope springs eternal
We’ve been very lucky in some previous games too before the two implosions, I wasn’t there today so can’t and won’t comment on the performance today, the one thing I will say is that if we want to go up we have to win these type of games, by my reckoning that’s twice we’ve lost 2-0 to Eastleigh under IB, obviously his comment when asked about having no experience of this league in saying ‘it’s just 11 players against 11 players’ is wearing a bit thin, it’s horses for courses as they say.
And you could say we have gone back to normal today, 5th,6th,7th seems to be our regular position at this level.
I wouldn't say the manager is now the issue though, being the difference between where we are now and top (or very much in touch with top) it's more likely recruitment. Obviously there will be a manager or two out there who could get this squad performing better but based on spending the majority would likely identify weaknesses in personal among the playing staff.
A win on Tuesday would make a big difference but so would a defeat. Looks a pivotal fixture after today's result.

This. I’m increasingly frustrated with Notts, because I think most of the time we’re really good. Probably the best team in the division on our day. But I reckon that’s been the case for the last couple of years, our issue is that once every month or so it just doesn’t work, the passing breaks down and we have no idea what to do. You can’t keep doing that and expect to challenge for the title IMO, so we’ll be play-offs again and then who knows?
Fingers crossed we get a good reaction from the players and can put the next run together starting on Tuesday evening and this blip can be restricted to one NL match. Auto promotion is still very much on the table with almost two thirds of the season to go and only a 7 point gap! A tough target of course as other teams are trying to get it too, but definitely still doable. Despite today's defeat we're still 4th in the form table over the last 6 games.
