Maybe due to some on here being in a truly negative frame, is why Italian newcomer, Samissio Allerdiccio was seen near Elland Road earlier today!

But a lot of footballers will sadly tell you they're only interested in their own performance & when that's not going for them whole apple-carts get quickly up turned & I've met a few footballing mindsets behind private doors expressing themselves.

Surely the first characteristic of a high-performing team is the level of Trust between each member but as in life some don't follow the team rules of Communication, Shared Vision, Culture of Accountability & the positive disciplined Learning Culture required daily from them individually & within the group.

Bielsa would argue [wrong or rightly] by experience, evidence & research that shows younger players derive greater benefit from playing football in smaller squads. As well as getting involved in the games more often players will learn more quickly and as such make more challenging decisions thus maximising individual potential offered.

Personalities all differ & to gel a team depends on individuals earning such Trust given.
It appears that the Leeds camp is a loyal trusted group, adaptable & keen to learn.
Many players could not fit into that ethos by taking a 'bench-seat or play in such a
system we employ - many clubs cannot obtain that scenario & we're no exception and
would inevitably succumb to player power & fire the coach as route one alternative.

No real answers to 'mindset' but our Owners of course could change direction, buy big &
still feel the force of fans wrath if matters don't improve - problem is when money
& egos take the hit we all know what happens next.

Sure presently it's not a good situation but some characters missing due to return
will be enough to secure safety - whether that's success is up to individual mindset
including Bielsa's thoughts on that possible scenario, personally it may be time for all
change ownership, Coaches & players sooner than later me thinks.
Interesting response MT. Gonna finish reading it in the morning....🤣🤣👍

Against a team littered with internationals we outplayed them for a half and the overall stats show that we should have had something from the game.

The Less positive at the start of the season said how no kids would get played so on the up side we have got to see some of them play and they look like developing into very good players.

Our luck will even out eventually and someone will get a hammering!
For how long? Them below us picked up points and we didn't. Things can only get better hey?

So we outplayed them for a pretty boring half but they came away with the points.

Maybe we should have looked at getting some cover for Bamford, Phillips and Raf. We have players who have overachieved the last few season but aren't replacating the same form. Same as the last few seasons our players looked fitter in the last 20 minutes of a game. Sorry but I'm not seeing that this season.

Goals win games, Spurs scored more than us, and we are struggling to score more than our opponents.

Soda Bread and dulce two things that remind me of Donegal and staying there as a kid

Who knows - Koch back in training but no Ayling or Bamf. No news on Shackleton or Summerville.

Rapha and Rodrigo should be fit for the weekend.

Firpo should also be fully recovered - cue comments incoming 😇

We seem to be playing better and getting at teams and need to start doing it both haves and finishing more chances.

Joffy seems to have leap frogged Roberts in the hierarchy which is no bad thing.

The sooner they think Forshaw can last a full 90 minutes the better as he has been the biggest improvement to the side since he has been fit he also should allow Rodrigo to play in the 10 role with Klich on the bench.

Dallas seems more comfortable this season at full back which means when others are fit Firpo makes more appearances from the bench till he gets fully immersed in what is required.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but too often out wide players seem to pull up and look inside rather than driving towards goal or putting in early balls - maybe the James goal will encourage more balls into the box.

4 or 6 points from the next two games would certainly soothe the nerves and both possible. Brighton on a bad run and Palace seem to be stuttering compared to early form.

Nope they both started incredibly well and are now struggling - we started very badly and are getting better so different trajectories altogether.

Hey ho - I am sure you can find some darkness within that sunlight too 😎

I'll let you know after these next 2 games if we are getting better. And keep in mind...I have picked us to draw with Brighton, and said I will pick us to beat Palace...so not all darkness as you state. 🙄
