The security thing is more for the second incident, fans and opposing players shouldn't be that close to each other after the match, especially how high tensions were after the original incident. The original incident is more to do with a fanny being a complete fanny

As much a professionalism thing as a security thing with regards the post match. Aberdeen as a club have to act professionally and risk assess the situation/protect their players. Ojo as an individual has to act professionally and not react. A far cry from the guy being praised for his restraint by McFadden and Co. on the Beeb

Security can only do so much when there is a genuine desire to be uncivilised

even security wouldnt have expected him to crack someone in the pus for the comment 'u didn't do very well the day' at most that's a 'f uck off mate' or simple ignoring the person

incredible behavior and i hope he gets the book thrown at him same as the chunt who shoved him

He was just trying to retrieve the ball? I don't see what was wrong with that given we had about four ball boys for the entire pitch.

Was it not a section of the hospitality at the reception entrance though? So not exactly your average fan. But yeah, you see players going in & out of Ibrox/Celtic Park etc and there are fenced off entrances/exits. Not much room to do that at Tannadice however. On fact none at all. You have the reception double door and a single sized gate onto the street. Only way would be to stop hospitality using that entrance/exit.

There is normally barricades and security guards at the exit where the opposition players get on their bus.

There was no running at the crowd though. Ojo made a run, nudged past Fuchs and his momentum took him over the barrier and to the steps. Nugget stepped in and the rest is history!

Agree, can't understand those defending the so called fan, he was out of order. Should have been removed and arrested immediately.

The way folk turn into utter eejits the moment they step foot into grounds is 1 of 2 things that hack me off nowadays
The other is how folk turn into mindless morons the moment they drive into supermarket carparks,

100% Spot On .. Lets not deflect from who is in the wrong here and its NOT the player .

Initially his momentum takes him over the hoarding at which point if you watch the footage he isn't even looking at the crowd , he is looking for the ball.

There's no excuse for the clown who shoved him to do what he did nor the wee mink stood throwing his pie at him either.

Totally embarrassing for the club especially when the Tam was making such a big deal of condemning opposition fans only a few weeks ago .

Also indivertibly this incident gets Butcher off the hook imo ..

He did a pretty cowardly act to get himself sent off and if the ref does his job properly and doesn't send Ojo off then that match could have easily went the other way with us down to 10 playing against 11 .

He is the captain but asixde from that what he actually did is totally unacceptable .
