My take on it is simple. He's paid very very good money - money that you would have to be boardroom level at a major bank , building society , corporation in a normal walk of life - keep your head down, work as hard as possible and button it, keep our opinions to yourself .

As for fans, I personally wont boo him etc as his perceived lack of ability and desire isn't my problem, however those that choose to do so have every right - they pay his wages . His wages are at a level that reflects he is a more prominent figure in the area than most and ultimately with that comes accountability and responsibility and a platform for people to vent their spleen to him should they wish. If he doesnt like it, he needs to either prove the doubters wrong or find a club where he will never receive such treatment, or retire from the game due to being too weak to handle the rigours that come with the gig.........and the wages
