Sean said at his press conference on Friday that Roberts was ill in bed but it was not Covid related. We have not yet resorted to getting lads out of their sick bed to play ---let's hope that it stays that way.

Well this was a good point particularly we were carrying some passengers. First off Jay Rod is useless along with Dwight and Gudmondson. All were poor and non existent. Both full backs had excellent games in Taylor and Lowton along with Ben Mee. It is unclear where any goal is going to come from. Maybe when Cornet is available he will carry a threat. The subs were a mystery Wood off Vydra on (OK with Vydra but pulling Wood is difficult to take. The same applies to taking off McNeil for Lennon who should not even be at the club pathetic and finally Brownhill for Westwood. I feel to see how such changes have an impact on the game they are all like for like||

The others aren’t fit to lace his boots Alf , he looks out of sorts with us because we persist in kicking it in the air but actually he’s an intelligent striker with good movement and brain.

I’m going to say this again though that I sympathise with wood a bit we never create him chances that he can actually score from ,

Without going around in circles our midfield is at best workmanlike and cannot pick a pass and has no composure on the ball whatsoever.

We could argue that the players we have can’t compete and the club is to blame for that through recruitment, however I’ve said before and I’ll again we are clueless tactically against teams we offer nothing and create nothing - yet again we watched a game where we never saw a shot in anger from our side.

There were times today where school boys would have faired better , the ball in midfield and the indecision you have it , no you have it , no you - oh too late Declan rice said I’ll
    Have it.
The gap between midfield and forwards is so apparent it’s embarrassing, JBG I wouldn’t pay in chocolate buttons we carry him for large parts of games every week ,

I hate to say it but we’re doomed unless we get some player s in January -

I’ll be slated on here but I said before Dyche re signing was a mistake and whilst he has more credit in the bank from fans than can be believed - our style will not change at Burnley.

Again today I WAS NOT entertained

On a different not Declan Rice is different class.

Well Outwood,if the others aren't fit to lace his boots we are well and truly in Dickies Meadow..

Will agree that Declan Rice certainly is a class act Outwood.

Alf , I don’t think he’s going to be prolific and as I alluded to at Burnley I’m not sure you’ll see the best of him tbh based on the negative high ball we play.
He’ll go somewhere else and maybe get a fair chance and score goals again we simply don’t suit his style.

With the exception of cornet he’s technically a better play than wood - Jay and Barnes.

Going downhill at a rate of knots is young Dwight, he was the future once, but like all of our attacking players, Cornet excepted, he looks out of his depth now, the game just passes him by. Not blaming the lad, it's just a shame he seems to be going down the toilet with the rest of them.

He's in hospital and is "very poorly", but not COVID related.

I was definitely not in Dickies Meadow Alf. Must have been fitted up. We could do with signing a midfield powerhouse like Declan Rice and an attacking midfielder in the mould of Tony Currie. Currie and Rice together what a combination!

He has the talent Sinkov but I think he’s playing with players that aren’t good enough or are extremely low on confidence at the minute.

He struggled today his delivery was shocking.

My real concern is our main attacking threat is Taylor and Lowton.

That tell s us all we need to know.
