Certainly seems inconsistent

The other thing that concerns me is the “latest measures” that the EFL are requiring football clubs to follow at their premises and training grounds. I thought that they were the control measures that they were already following, or perhaps they never did treat it seriously

I think it's down to complacency, not just in football but everywhere in life. Thankfully Omicron is 'mild' but who knows what the next mutation will bring.
