Why was Mike Dean ever allowed to have a whistle in his mouth during any game?

Liverpool didn’t come out of the dressing room second half man

We continually lumped the ball upfield to no one. As far as chances apart from the goal we had a scuffed shot from The Saint.

The ball was like a hot potato last night to our players. We will still be on 10 points come January.

For me we are as good as gone now mate but that might not be a bad thing. The plain and simple fact is we are not good enough for this league

Apart from improved effort (which should be a given) I agree with Terry. We cant string a number of passes together & may as well do away with a forward line .That said , the Panto performance by the Liverpudlian ''officianado'' was a joke & more than ever convinces me that they are after their pound of flesh !!!!

There must be something odd going on then and this needs to be brought out into the open and reasons given.

So Dean the scouser can referee liverpool games and always help them out yet Clattenberg was banned from officiating any Newcastle matches.

    From the Manchester Evening News.

Although they say he supports Tranmere, like Tynesiders, Gateshead supporters would have a soft spot for the Toon as Tranmere supporters would have for Liverpool. As you can see here from this report from the Mancs E-News he wasn't allowed to ref Liverpool v West Ham.

"Mike Dean - from Wirral - supports Tranmere Rovers

Tranmere's terrace Ultra was removed from refereeing the 2006 FA Cup final between Liverpool and West Ham - because he lived in Wirral, which is part of Merseyside."
