What a joke this all is. When asked why BJ can be trusted, Oliver Dowden said because he got Brexit done! Add to that the vaccine rollout and the financial packages through Covid.

If there were just 1 or 2 parties last year I am pretty sure they would be forgotten. But it seems that it was the accepted thing.
So, "The UK's top civil servant has stepped aside from his role leading an inquiry into Downing Street lockdown parties, after it emerged an event was held in his own office". This is now way beyond surreal. The Tory cabinet touted him as the best person to lead this inquiry because he was paragon of virtue. He was so, so honest and respected that there was nobody better.

Only one option left now. This is so serious it should go to the very top. Boris Johnson should head the inquiry!
