Do you not see yet it's not about a virus now?

Of course it is about a virus. Get the details of the number of triple vaccinated people with Omicron. Facts are chiels that winna ding, and Boris and his cabinet would be delighted if they could tell the public to get vaccinated and be safe without all the masks and isolation protocols.

If you are right and the whole tsunami agenda is just an attempt at mass control rather than actual virus control then I think you will find a marked change in MSM and I think there are voices within the cabinet who will want to abandon the regime that seems to me to be using exaggerated claims to keep things as they are.
Without Omicron I don't think there would be the same media panic. If Omicron turns out not to be a tsunami of death why would we accept the behaviour of those who misled us?

I do not believe a word that politicians of all parties tell us because they are only interested in their own agenda.
My MSP on Islay Michael Russell was hopeless and when he stood down and retired last May I thought that his successor would be an improvement.
His successor Ms Jenni Minto the SNP MSP announced shortly after she was elected that she was gong to sort out the current Scottish Government owned Calmac ferries fiasco and the Rest and be Thankful road problems which have been taking place since August 2004.
Since then there has not been a cheep from Ms Minto about the Calmac ferries and Rest and be Thankful problems because words are cheap but getting things done a lot more difficult.

They have misled from almost the start bcram.

England will not tolerate and Johnson WILL be toast very shortly as soon as they conservative party find a CONSERVATIVE leader and not a pseudo hen pecked socialist.

Scotland and Wales is a different matter however

Sturgeon will have to have these powers taken from her in March or she will continue to excercise them .

I know not all SNP voters are brainwashed some just see it as a means to an end and lend them their vote BUT a huge % of them are brainwashed I'm afraid and they will continue with the narrative of Nicola knows best Scotland's mammy.

We already live in the most authoritarian part of the Uk and people comply, they ain't gonna change.

Even the enquiry into the COVID response will be fixed to show lockdowns work but only if they are harder and longer

I don't see politicians up here turning, I don't see the general public turning....I do in England.

Oh and the next "variant of concern" around November 2022.....they will make sure it's as transmissible as omricon but more deadly ....set your watch by it.

I had a look at my vaccine certificate (my eyes only, not for barman, restaurant owner or bouncer consumption), runs out march 2022, booster number 2 in the spring then?

I doubt I will have another one, it's all rather pointless

I think that Boris would rather not be having to follow the science. Like you I think much of the early policies were designed to protect the Conservative Government from blame for their failure to follow through on their massive resilience exercise should a pandemic arise. We've been over this a few times and Save the NHS was really a way to divert attention away from the complete failure of our political elite to deal with something that they recognised as a problem and then did heehaw to fix it. Same with masks. Not needed at all for the General public. Desperately few masks available for the medical profession so divert everything towards Save NHS and another major issue is diffused. I admit I have been too optimistic about the integrity of the whole leadership from all organisations. I think that as the facts are uncovered the faith in those who have led us through this period will wither and voices, who are more in tune with your and Deeranged’s views, might get a chance to provide a different approach.
I don't think Scotland will change much while Nicola is SNP leader. The defeat of covid might be the crowning glory that would encourage Nicola to retire, so perhaps there will be a move away from her SNP. Germany looks really different now that Angela Merkel has gone. We might find a similar effect when Nicola hangs up her boots.
