    Aberdeen

We need a big result (a point) up north

Ross county as I thought are getting it together, they have goals in them.

I expect at j to get better after the sturgeon lockdown and st m result last night was a real kick in the knackers.....livvy have that pitch to save them

We can't depend on teams being worse than us, we simply have to grow a pair and get better.

Mcpakes teams generally improve after January but he really shouldn't be in charge now.

There's still hope of avoiding btm 2 but it's fading a bit.

Agree with most of that however as it stands right now, with every side in and around us having an advantage of some sort over us, I don't see us finishing above bottom.

Things can change of course and the tendency for McPake to improve results after January when in The Championship can't be depended upon in Premiership where sides are much better and much more brutal so it has to be decent additions to the squad and ideally a proper manager in place for the rest of the season; although we all know that isn't happening.

Our problem is we are flogging goals ever game, teams like Livie and St Mirren can keep clean sheets, and Mcpake , a defender,
    Still can't sort it out.
County will recruit in January, and I expect them to pull away, and think the fermers will do the same.
We should never have lost the County game, that's why we are in the shyte now.we can only hope that we get something from the Dons game, although I wouldn't put money on it.
Sorry for all the gloom & doom, but it's not a surprise for most fans.

Would you rather have 2 extra points, or a better goal difference? I know what I’d rather have.

First paragraph in your post. Farmers don’t have an advantage over us. Unless it’s your opinion.

Right now we have two more points than them and a poorer goal difference. Do you think, with things as they are now, that would be the case in mid February?

I'd rather have the two points however I'd also rather have the confidence that their supporters will have that they will sign players in January to get them out of it and that they have a manager capable of getting them out of it.

You should read what their supporters are saying about Davidson. Don’t think they’ve got much confidence.

I would not be surprised to see the St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson getting the sack.
