A loan to Oxford did mowatt no harm and his mindset was where it needed to be. Big val always included him in his squads so can’t have been shirking as we know what happens to players that did! Get him back, if he’s so unprofessional then flog him to Oxford before the end of January .

If he is half arsed then another in the starting 11 won’t hurt
Difference in this case Renno is that Mowatt, if I remember rightly, was coming back into a championship side. If Kane comes back, he's looking at playing in a side that's out of form, potentially losing some key players in January and probably going to be in league one anyway next season. Not sure how I'd feel about that choice. But like you say, get him back and see what happens. Hopefully he'll keep us up single handedly.

I can’t remember - my memory ain’t what it used to be. We have nothing to lose so might as well go for it .

I have to say I’ve been really disappointed with Romal Palmer this season , whether it’s a confidence thing. I always think though that if you’re a decent player in a poor side, you will stand out. There’s arguably only been Collins who has stood out - and that’s because he has to be busier than last season

I agree, Palmer has been poor this season. He's still only a 70 minute player as well which doesn't help.
