I think the problem is we gave a manager who has a very rigid and predictable style of playing .... and in short we’ve been worked out. Many of the recent games I’ve seen gave followed a very similar pattern .... we batter teams on the stats ... but they defend like hell and get players behind the ball. Then wait for a mistake. Whatever the commentators said .. Derby did not deserve to win yesterday they got very lucky.

I also think the genuine “nailed on must score” chances we are creating are very few .... regardless of the number of shots. Yesterday ... Robinson missed one when clean through, Hugill missed one but not easy, and Barts was denied by a great save. But that was about it. Been saying it since August .... we need a striker who can put the ball in the net.

Pity we didn’t get Wilder .... but he would have wanted to spend money .... that’s not something Lai is willing to do. Val has his faults for sure .... but I lay the blame for our current predicament squarely at our Chairman’s door.
