Why don't we try the young lad up front who's been scoring for fun, and not be too bothered about going up this season. Val has been given 2 seasons hasn't he? If we use the lads it wont matter if they fail. Only to them of course.

There's some things you Baggies need to know about Daryl Dike .

Yes the lads got ability and enormous potential and he's one heck of a unit .

Just bear in mind lads that last season was totally different for Dike in the championship than this .

The five sub rule meant he only played 60 minutes when he started games because Val took off the three front lads on the hour and replaced them with three fresh strikers and so kept up that high press .

So he only played 60 minutes when he started or 30 minutes off the bench .

Playing inside stadiums with no fans massively helped him and he revelled in it as did most of our young squad .

He was a complete unknown last season but that won't be the case should he join Albion .

Accept him as an addition to your squad but please don't pin your hopes on him would be my advice .

Sincerely hope he does the business for you because he was brilliant for us and he's also a smashing young lad .

Well one thing's for certain. If he revelled in playing behind closed doors for Barnsley he's in for a fkn big shock when he plays in front of our bunch of whingeing fkrs 😊 .

Yes the crowd can be merciless at times.
Many on here will remember Danny Gabbidon. He was a great prospect for with a brilliant start to his career. Then the expectation become too much and the pressure got to him. I was there the one night when all of oooos and rrrr’s and some verbal dogs abuse from some of the crowd almost destroyed the poor lad. He was subbed as I recall for his own good.

In the end he had to leave ( for a decent fee c/o JP ).
Thankfully he did recover and went on to play for Wales.

Yes that’s the crowd for you. Just like the old gladiatorial arena at times.

Good point Boingy and would they be any worse than donkey Hugill or Robinson, Grant and Diangana who don’t like to get their shorts dirty!

I am in Orlando now where Dike is. Only a
f uckin deluded screwball would want to leave Orlando with hot weather - great stadium and supporters to come to rainy West Brom to work for a little w anker like Lai! I am sure the guy is well satisfied here! Football better at West Brom? At the moment it’s far more entertaining in Orlando and no less quality than in our team!

I suppose that in these days of equality it makes sense for us to recruit a 'dike'

And that would be even after a hat trick but they will remember the sitter he missed....
