Our postponed matches, have they helped

Covid aside, with our crippling injury position, be interesting to see how we perform in next games etc.
Hopefully will have given time for one or two to return, fresh legs etc, but team needs to come out of the blocks flying, no time to slowly get back into full game mode, over first couple of matches, has to be bang on for full 90 mins.
Add this to a couple of Jan additions, time to pull away from bottom pack.

Sadly we still have a gang of players who could end up banned for a game if they get a yellow card in the Burnley game; I can imagine it ill get feisty so almost guaranteed. Raphinha is one

I think it will prove tremendously helpful.

Not just the injuries. we were in terrible form and totally dejected prior to the postponements. Hope that it gives us a chance to reset. Hope that they come back in a better mental state.

Agreed I also think that the teams around us who could still play and lost wi help confidence as the buffer is still in place to the bottom 2.

Game against Burnley suddenly that much more important - 3 points from that would ease the pressure a little.

Good news is Burnley are playing tonight; hopefully it will be a hard game in the rain for them
