We also don’t know who in the squad has tested positive, so we don’t know if we will be putting out a ‘weakened’ team. The beauty of keeping it under wraps is that Wrexham also have no clue what kind of side we can put out.
The only problem with that comment is that those who sit on the bench are just not good enough to play in a match of this importance.. I certainly wouldn't trust any of them..

Can't argue with that. It's common that the players who predominantly make the bench only can't be relied upon, it's certainly been the case at Notts for a while now.

I wouldn’t disagree Durham. The point is that IB is saying he does trust them. In many cases they are his signings.
As I stated earlier, none of us know who has been impacted. For all we know it’s players who would ordinarily be on the bench that have been impacted.

I trust IB, we don't know who has Covid .... might not be first team regulars.

If we do go ahead and some players are out, who will be on the bench? Can we recall Tyreace Palmer - although Melton Town have had games pp because of Covid.

Just been reading comments from Sean Dyche on the arguments about number of substitutes allowed, games expected to play etc. I know that Burnley don't have as many games as those in the Champions league etc, but neither do they have the resources.

“You have to go: ‘Come on, let’s get on with the challenge in front of us. Remember what we are – professional footballers – and whatever comes our way we take it on and do the best we can with it.’

Aye it totally depends who’s out, doesn’t it? If we’re right on the edge of a postponement, that suggests we have fiveish cases. If that’s Wootton, Roberts, Palmer, Cameron and Slocombe (for example) then we’re clearly screwed, if it’s Knight, Sam, Mitchell, Francis and Brooks (for example again) then we can probably get by.

Yes good post. Could be games from Mr Birchnall. He is pretty good at games to be honest.

If there is any doubt and we cant field our strongest team, then call the game off. We cannot jeopardise our chances of getting out of this pi** pot league.. I've had enough of the sitting in grounds and using overflowing porta loos and garden sheds for food...

Ticket touting is something you would associate with sell out concerts involving the likes of Ed Sheeran and Adele, not a non-league football club.

But the problem has arisen at the Racecourse, where Wrexham have caught three individuals re-selling tickets at "hugely inflated prices".

Matchday demand has rocketed since the club's Hollywood takeover by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Wrexham has reported the incident to North Wales Police.

A force spokesman confirmed: "We are liaising with the club and our enquiries into this matter remain ongoing."

Wrexham said the individuals had attempted to re-sell tickets for forthcoming matches, including Sunday's National League trip to Notts County.

They have since had their purchases cancelled.

"We are proud of the incredible support we are receiving, and anybody trying to exploit this by illegally touting tickets - at the expense of regular and loyal match-going fans - will be dealt with in the strictest possible way," a club
