I'm on planet earth Animal. I stick with my points already made; there were good reasons we might have had a deal for Dike.

I have no problem with the owners taking 750k out of the club either to pay for it. It's just an accounting issue. However, there are many other reasons for my originally 'undecided' position to change to against the owners, some of which Piggy has highlighted. However, the Dike saga has more to it than we have so far been told. End of the day, it's over because we didn't get him, but I suspect other information will present itself eventually.

Nothings changed here as far as we BFC are concerned let’s remember our double Wembley season when we had some very good loans making up that squad. AshleyFletcher, Josh Brownhill, Ivan Tony & Lloyd Isgrove.

Out of these which one did we eventually sign.

Then moving fairly quickly on we lose Conor Hourihane, Mark Roberts, Alfie Mawson and Josh Scowen. All this coupled with our promotion under Stendal then the heart is wripped out of the side at the start of the new Championship season.

Over the years the list is endless so as for DK going to West Brom a club still spending Premiership money then I find it very difficult to get exited about particularly with all the other crap currently going on in Grove Street.

On a personnel note myself and my grandson were thrown out of the West Stand this season due to nothing but internal mismanagement which really did get me exited. The straw that broke the camels back for me this one. Never again will I go near Grove Street until this lot are long gone and all this after being a regular for almost 60 years starting with a home win against Coventry City in 1962.

I will of course continue to support our club from the comfortable armchairs available.

Yeah, on this one Animal, as I've said before, the money is in the club whichever way you look at it because at the end of the day the owners have put 750k in their pockets but their club is worth 750k less. Not sure I'd be happy if I was James Cryne though.

You have to question whether the Directors are acting in the club's best interests though Arbs by taking £750 K out of the club and using it to pay an instalment of the purchase cost of the club rather than using their own money. That £750K could have been used to purchase a player who could have been key in divisional retention.

A little SB. But to be honest, I really can't get excited about it because it's all a money go round anyway and we supporters can't affect it. The 750k is low on my list. There have been many other,more important, questions that have been raised by yourself, Animal and other posters. Player profit over club performance i.e. money over sporting achievement.has to be my top issue ( And just to qualify this, I'm not talking about bankrupting the club). But at the end of the day, I want owners that have a top priority of doing the best they can from a sporting point of view, not ones that aim to make as much money as they can. Football's a sport.
