Great result. didn't want the game played if honest.
Are they any good at sheep shagging? I have a few Ewes that need servicing

This game had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. There’s a reason clubs like us, Wrexham, Chessie, Grimsby, Southend etc are in this league but yesterday’s game defies all logic in that respect.

I was if the opinion that if we had enough players we should still play and trust in the squad. Well I think we all saw how we have players like Chicksen, Francis, Mitchell and even Sam that can play their part when called upon.

A great game, great atmosphere and another example of why the NL should now have a 3 up 3 down promotion and relegation with L2.

As you say, typical. If we had lost then some of the posters we have who only post when we lose would be back (where are you?) and would be posting similar stuff.

Only one person though said it wasn't a handball!
Tbf I've noticed during this little run of consecutive victories that they've re-emerged
and have been posting, but as you would expect the usual word count has been slashed to a bare minimum.

I'm no expert on the subject but I suspect what Elite is saying is there are melodramatic fools posting OTT comments during games and immediately after a defeat on every clubs message boards.

I’m glad it isn’t. Had it been 3 down we would have been relegated much sooner than we eventually were. I feel that would have been the death of the club.
It’s only being suggested now to make it easier for us to get out of this league.
As tough as this league is, we simply have to achieve promotion this season. We will lose some of our better players and will be left hoping that we can plug those gaps. Looking at the bottom end of League 2, it looks set to be established (although struggling) EFL clubs that come down, making it tough again next season.

Substitute 'fans who let their emotions run high' for 'melodramatic fools', and you've got it.

That's a nice positive spin on it, and I'm all about PVO

I've read earlier this morning that there were quite a few 'fans who let their emotions run high' (aka idiots) from both clubs yesterday on London Road and at the train station.

Disappointing to read but not surprising sadly.

They are definitely idiots, not fans who let their emotions run high.

I think looking at the fixtures you’ve got to fancy us if we are within touching distance come the run in.

Our last 8 games as things stand are against 8 of the current bottom 9!
Generally teams that win the title have a six game winning run or two during the season. We have the perfect opportunity to go on a six game winning streak having won the last three league games and the next three games being against Dover, Barnet and Wealdstone.

Our last four home games against Kings Lynn, Wealdstone, Dover and Altrincham are going to be the ones we need to win as we will be at the business end of the season.

So there is a great opportunity to put ourselves right up there if we can win our next three and last six games. It's shaping up to be a very exciting second half of the season.
