    Liverpool v Arsenal postponed....Why?

Surely they both have enough premadonnas in their respective squads to put our four teams each?
EPL ruling body just sink lower and lower........

Hiya Dubs. It's nothing to do with the EPL ruling body. Liverpool have appealed to the EFL as it's the League Cup.

Liverpool had Covid cases absent when drawing with Chelsea but they've lost more to it since. Not condoning their appeal but they've also got injuries and they're losing players to the AFCON too.

Interestingly though I think it was Leyton Orient who lodged a similar appeal ahead of a game v Spurs in the same competition a while back. When they repeatedly stated they couldn't fulfill the fixture they had to forfeit the tie.

    You never know........

League cup...forgot that.....so if Arsenal appeal against postponement...they could get a walk over....?
Doubt it...but all these postponed games are going to put pressure on the system going forward........

Liverpool's training ground was closed due to Covid yesterday. With that in mind I'd be surprised if they made them forfeit a semi final.

At the same time Klopp's had no problem playing an entire youth team in the competition before now. One legged or two leg semi, they wouldn't have one to stand on if I was part of the process.

    On yer way laaaah.
