First chance ive had to catch up on the new self isolation rules and i think that is the way we should have went at the start of Omicron along with the vaccination programme and some of the rules that were brought in. To me, proof of vaccine and testing would have been enough instead of effectively closing things down.

Mmmm! Are you saying i am not capable of creating my own narrative?

You say Science, i say there is a tendency to use data to meet their own opinions on risk and bamboozle people and im not willing to be sitting cotton woolled and bubble wrapped!

Politicians, so i have Nic and Boris(and his wee rat) to listen to and think both are wrong to different extremes.

And i will bring in the media and feck me they are woeful! And they are the ones that are creating the fear and prejudice you talk of

So in short, i have listened to what i want to and created my own narrative.

The 6 Nations that tHeArAb mentioned is going to be interesting.
Kicks off with Scot v Eng at Murrayfield Sat Feb 5.
    Crowd 500 or 67,500?
We've got 6 games in 3 weeks round about then so I hope it's the latter.
They've been known to adopt different rules for the Rugger Buggars.

Sturgeon is being very coy on the matter whenever pressed. I have no idea which way this is going to go tbh. Given the fact there have been absolutely zero improvements in case numbers as a result of stadium bans (in fact quite the opposite) will there be an admittance that they fcuked up in shutting down mass gatherings and thus a backtrack of somewhat to allow fans back in? I'm not so sure.

Bosses at the SFA and SPFL have told clubs to get ready for 'business as usual' after the winter break.

Scotland's top flight clubs were given a massive shot in the arm on Wednesday when they were advised to start planning for full capacity crowds as soon as the winter shut down is over.

Record Sport understands the ‘prepare for full steam ahead’ message was sent out from Hampden’s sixth floor late on Wednesday afternoon following the First Minister’s latest Covid update to parliament.

Although fears remain that the government may still be planning to restrict mass gatherings until later this year, football’s Joint Response Group have now told clubs to expect ‘business as usual’ when the second half of the top flight campaign gets underway this month.

And, despite some initial uncertainty caused by the wording of Nicola Sturgeon’s online address, the football authorities are confident the return of bumper crowds should now begin when Celtic take on Hibs at Parkhead on Monday January 17 - followed by a packed midweek fixture card 24 hours later.

Hopes of Scotland’s Six Nations rugby opener against England on February 5 being played in front of a full house at Murrayfield are also sky high despite a plan to play the whole tournament in England to avoid crowd restrictions.

SFA chief executive Ian Maxwell and his SPFL counterpart Neil Doncaster were involved in the JRG talks which were convened as a response to the FM’s greatly anticipated briefing.

It was also agreed during those discussions that the national game will ask for a £2m slice of the £5m crisis fund which the FM announced has been set aside for Scottish sport to help cover the costs of the ongoing battle against coronavirus.

You’d be “coy” too, in her shoes. Everything will be judged in hindsight, and we need our leaders to be neither optimistic nor pessimistic, rather realistic,

We may yet have a derby party on 1-2-2022

I’m no anti vaxer I’m pro choice I’m double jabbed but think the booster whether it’s 1,2,3 or even 4 is overkill and all the information I can find, non MSM bbc etc says it wouldn’t be much use but I understand everyone has different health and some need extra help but I’m most definitely an anti vaccine passport and anti mandatory vaccination. The latter should be voted on as a bare minimum.I’d love for the derby to be a full house and get back to some kind of normality.
