I always think you get bad discipline records when the camp is unhappy. We have had it is the past and it never ends well because as others have said we are not going to win much with 10 players (well our record ain’t great with 11 either!).

I do think that it is the boss who has to set the standard and who is the person responsible when standards drop. Same in any walk of life.

There is no plural as in we - Val should have said I will immediately change this as being the manager - just like any manager the responsibility is mine!!!

Lack of discipline shows lack of concentration.
Many of these reds are for silly reason. A hrdd tackle near the touchline is undisciplined.
Manager has responsibility for the team but players have the bigger responsibility on the pitch.
Many are failing at this moment...

One of the things I loved about Val was his passion and that don't feck with my boys attitude .

The players will in my opinion run through brick walls for a guy such as Val knowing he's willing to walk across that line for them .

It worked for us as a small club in the championship last season with young and average players , the old Wimbledon crazy gang mentality .

This may not work as well at a bigger club such as Albion and some extremely well paid players .

Val's gone from a small club sticking it up the big boys to a big boys club who have a different mindset .

Coming on to the field and giving it large against Cardiff City doesn't work the same way at Albion as it did at Oakwell in my opinion .
