Jermaine Defoe has to be one of the worst pundits ever; he has the vocabulary and articulation of a dead badger. Jermaine Beckford, by comparison, comes across like Plato.

Agreed. Good luck to them. I thought that he would rest Raphinha and Dallas. And as Gelhardt was injured figured he would play Greenwood. Didnt think he would rest Foreshaw. Lewis Bate? Have not followed his performances so no idea about him. Has he even subbed? Not sure.. Hjelde hasn't subbed on because he is a centre back and we have more good players in that position.

they are sent in to fail so he can show why he doesn't play them. Basically 3 first-timers in at the same time woahhh.

Indeed - looking forward to seeing Hejlde and Bate. Shame for Joffy just as he was hitting form and really kicking on.

    Back 5 looks decent.

Surprised that if, as rumoured, Barndoor is fit he wasn't at least on the bench. A 20 minute cameo might have done him good as long as he was instructed not to do stupid celebrations when he scored the winner in the 89th minute.

Beckford looking trim on the side line - what he wouldn’t give for the chance for a 15 minute cameo

I like the style of the numbers on the back of the shirt.
