[QUOTE=ramAnag;39949425][QUOTE=Trickytreesreds;39949418]It's not a matter of blaming the opposition RA.
The simple fact is, they have come across to the general public as a lot worse and absolute ****.
Ask yourself this. How can not one party dispossess the Torys, being as bad as you say?
We've had them all, from Corbyn/ Cable/Milliband/Swinson(I'm the next prime minister)/ Starmer and the fanatics of Jockistan and Wales. No again, I am not defending Johnson or the Tories, but my point is that the political playing field in the UK is absolute ****e.
Sadly Tricky, the truth is that time and time again you try and turn attention to Labour and that’s really not relevant. I agree they’re not very good but that isn’t what this is about.
The problem is that the current PM, and alleged leader of this country, is in the process of being exposed for the hypocritical liar and charlatan he is.
His pathetic and obsequious apology this afternoon was about him being caught out, not actually recognising that he’s done wrong with behaviour that is an insult to all those who have observed the rules for the last twenty odd months.
The bigger problem is that if he lies - sorry makes such ‘errors of judgement’ - about matters like this, then how sound might his judgement have been over other aspects of Covid or even your beloved Brexit?
On the subject of liars and ‘errors of judgement’ I see that other architect of Brexit, one Nigel Farage, is currently in cahoots with the Djokovic clan. Says it all really.
As for why Labour struggle to simply overthrow the Tories...probably because, as a result of Johnson’s lies, Corbyn’s inadequacies and the general public being totally pi**ed off with the tedious Brexit ‘fallout’ the current Government was elected with a huge majority. It’s very difficult to overthrow any government in such circumstances especially when so few of the current Conservative Party are prepared to grow a backbone.
If you cannot displace the Tories now, you never will.
They are the government and deserve every biy of flak they are getting.
However, how far do you want to go, with this COVID piss take?
Corbyn, using Abbotts calculator for the number coming for dinner?
SNP, - Blackford from London to Scotland when he was carrying COVID?
Sein Fein attending a funeral running into thousands? There has been a few across the board doing this.
Xmas drinky poos across all parties, the pictures have banded about.
The rules were the rules and politicians think they can bend /ignore them at will.
PS, Djokovic and Farage? And you call me for bringing up irrelevent facts?
For your information he has been a family friend for years. I also don't believe the Australian COVID policy is relevent to any of this, unless you are advertising your support for the draconian measures going on there?
As for growing a back bone. The Tories are well known for ousting leaders they want gone.
However, the electorate can oust any governemnt and that brings me back to why they haven't.
BECAUSE THE OPPOSITION HAS BEEN ****.
Wow!! TTR, you're a friend of Djokovic? Any chance of a Wimbledon final ticket?
[QUOTE=Trickytreesreds;39949466][QUOTE=ramAnag;39949425]Sorry Tricky...you have a very limited grasp of politics if you think this government can be ‘ousted’ any time soon.
The next General Election is approximately 27 months away and there is nothing either the electorate or the opposition can do to change that so long as the Government enjoys the kind of majority it currently has.
Again you seek to deflect. Not sure what Abbott and Corbyn have to do with this but they’re your regular ‘go to’ so I guess that’ll be why you’ve brought them up...again! But we’re talking about the Prime Minister’s repeated behaviour...you remember...the ‘man’ who’s meant to lead by example.
I brought Farage up because, along with Johnson, they were the two ringleaders as regards the debacle that is Brexit. It was pointed out at the time, on numerous occasions, that neither were to be trusted. Judging from his recent comments and latest associations it would appear that those observations were well founded...unless of course you believe that Djokovic has been telling the truth.
oooh, lets make it toxic again so it sinks back where it belongs
Johnson's a liar and a bounder, Farage is a chancer and opportunist in the Gibson S mold, (OK so far rA?), Starmer is an ineffective waste of space, I'll bring up Corbyn and Abbot again just to be provocative, the Bills will not win the Superbowl, Forest wont win the FA Cup and Donald Trump should be given a Nobel Prize for services to world peace.
Theres a good start
RA, I understand the Tories/Johnson wind you up, for even existing.
But you seem to believe that this country will be much better off run by anyone else.
Now remind me again, how many times Labour have been in power in the last 25 years.
We might have the Tories here for another 27 months, but every election before the public put them there.
Also a lot can happen in that time. May got the push, Johnson came in and blitzed it.
They'll get rid rid of him and what do you think will happen?
The bit you call deflection, is a fact.
THE OPPOSITION ARE ****E.
Please find me something/someone worth voting for. I have just outlined how bad they all are and the rot continues.
