This, Freeman especially. Neilson offered absolutely nothing going forward. Really bizarre decison by the manager. Freeman's introduction at least got us up the park.

Pawlett, Harkes & Fuchs, take your pick. Brutal. Niskanen did nothing again. Levitt wasn't at it. Spent the whole game between the centre half's passing the ball the three of them. McNulty is also still sh!t. If that's him raring to go, then deary fcuking me.

We play like that on Saturday and we're out the cup it's as simple as that so time for Tam to stop talking the talk and start showing us his mettle.....if he has any.
I said a few weeks ago that this current side are starting to take on the manager's character. It happens quite a lot. Studious, ponderous, lacking fire, thinking about it too much.

You could see the opposite with St Mirren who were displaying Goodwin's personality - don't care who you are we're here to rough you up, get in your faces, score, defend it and hold out.

    This is worrying.

Neilson is not and never will be a right back
Playing Harkes and Pawlett together is the definition of stupidity because we've seen it many times before. Why would you expect it to change
Glass was our best player in the last game , definitely the most creative, but doesn't get on until we're 2-0 down
    Freeman was fit all along
Watt being held back on the bench was a joke

Terrible stuff from our coach. Shocking.
Point 1 harsh but probably true.
Point 2 Spot on, just like young Smith.
Point 3 Bang on... they have qualities, but... not for this league.
Point 4 Words fail me why he wasn't on from scratch.
Point 5 He caused more damage in 20 minutes than the whole team did in the whole match (not including the OG)
Point 6 It was far more than a joke........ it made NO sense and was totally.... (och words really fail me on that ane)

We spend money on the leagues top scorer & dont start him. Only at utd. Fkn madness. When we play like we did in first half we must be the easiest softest team in the league to play against. Absolutely no leaders, nobody busting a gut,no one getting angry or geeing each other up. Trotting to get ball at corners & throw ins like its a training session. 40 passes with zero final ball. 2nd half better & should have got a draw at worst but utterly sickened with our continual complete lack of a fighting start to games. Ref was right up there as one of the worst ever. Will we ever get a string of dodgy decisions going for us? A crap night all round

Always get comedy gold after a defeat

However another difficult and frustrating one to sum up, again feel we merited atleast a point in the end, second half we were pretty good and their goal was against the run of play, we had proper got chances, Mulgrews, McNulty sitter, Clark sitter etc aswell as the goal

Having a proper right back helped bigtime second half, Freeman was back on form when he came on, what I like is he more often than not picks someone out, quality service, Clark was vgood when he came in,
Not sure why people want rid, he has plenty to offer the team /squad

Another thing second half was Levitt, Harkes and Fuchs (the latter still poor conpared to previous standards) all getting closer to each other, started finding gaps and playing balls through to Pawlett in space or McNulty etc then would go wise and get good delivery in

Second half is what we need to see more, first half was way too passive, we had plenty possession but no cutting edge and gifted up a couple chances and tbf it was some hit for their first

Frustrating though as we did create second half, and good chances, we still could easily have won the game of we were a bit more clinical, especially the McNulty one

We need to move on quick as have big away Cup tie to win on Saturday and then an important one vs County next Wednesday at Tannadice where we need to get the win to stop the rot

Calling United fans comedians because they're disappointed with a run of defeats and poor performances. . Deary me.

We lost the midfield battle then, of course, when they go a goal up and that's us fcuked as we just don't have 2 goals in us. ☹️

The starting line up was piss poor, and the tippy-tappy pish is utterly deflating me.

WTF has happened to Fuchs? Can't get my head around it and there is no way he should be starting ahead of Butcher on this form.

    All in all, brutal. 😭

ST FN Mirren's first win since the 16th of FN October which was a very narrow 3-2 v Ross County who were themselves in freefall at that time.It is their first win in 12 games which suggests to me they had played every side in the league and managed to beat FN nobody.
