My mon was Irish Dubbs and I'm perfectly aware of the 'Butcher's Apron' and it's legacy. But don't even pretend to tell me the global geopolitical system started with the 'Mother of all Parliaments' while conveniently overlooking world history prior to parliament's inception. Politics and corruption run through the ages and come in all shapes and sizes. And you know it. Give yourself a break and smell the flowers.

You exported the corruption quicker through your empire...speeded it up....of course politics has always been corrupt but UK became great at exporting it from the home land...of course there has always been corruption.......I don't need a break, although I shall bear it in mind...as always like a little rest every now and then.....
Anyway...I am quite sure your present PM will survive for another day....

Point being you stated the British started it all when the British patently didn't. I'm glad you've come around to my way of thinking by acknowledging corruption has always been there and politics has always been corrupt.

By taking a break I was referring to giving yourself a break from thinking Britain and it's former empire are the root of all evil. The British government's done some deplorable things to it's own people and those abroad of that there is no doubt, but give it a rest 😊 .

As for BJ being Prime Minister you're quite correct. He is Britain's Prime Minister. For now. If you've come to the conclusion that he's 'my' Prime Minister I'd love to know how you arrived at it.

I never discuss who I vote for in local or general elections on here and that's because I can't be @rsed with getting into spats over pratts. Not even my wife knows. And that's because it's none of her bloody business either 😊 😉 .
