We need height. We need beef. Promotion this season already looking remote. The irony is that Ardley's lot might well finish above us.

I've been listening to the commentary for the last 40 minutes. I've just heard a (one) mention of Rodrigues, no mention of Wooton or Roberts. Do we have strikers?

    1) No physical presence in midfield.
    2) No decent backup striker for Wootton who for whatever reason can’t play away. I’d have dropped him today.
I hate using the phrase, because it was a favourite of that buffoon Steve Thompson, but we can't afford to become a 'nice team to play against'. That's the worry at present, away from home at least.

Radio commentators described Notts as " Utter pedestrian !" - We have not beaten anyone inside the play-offs and simply cannot play well away. 9th and 9 points from top. Just not good enough!!

    Different manager
    Same owners.

Burchnall is doing the job he's been brought in to do - Coach the team he's been given. He might claim otherwise, but I very much doubt he will have as much say in who comes in and who goes out as most other managers do.
There might be a good sound reason why we are having to do this "on the cheap" (compared to at least three other teams in this league), but I' far from convinced yet that we're better off with these owners than what Wrexham and Stockport have.

We were decent enough first half but this half, meh. This has got 2 or 3-0 written all over it.

A couple of good points there but there are many more and the major one for me is that you just can’t play your way out of this league, at times you have to mix it up, but unfortunately we have too many inconsistent ‘flair‘ players and not enough consistent week in week out National League top 6 players, but as I have quoted many times IB‘s quote when asked about having no experience of the National League ‘it’s only 11 Players against 11 players’, it isn’t. I want out of this league and if it means bullying our way unattractively then I’ll take that!

I thought we'd beat Stockport and Wrexham? Or do you mean away from home?

Most worrying is we don't even look like scoring. If we lose that from our game, the season is over
