Pitch looked bad when i switched on and was shocking when we kicked off, hard, uneven bounce and a gale blowing straight down the pitch. At H/T i didn't think 1 goal would be enough but the 2nd half was pretty even and comfy for us, especially when Cheio had done the business on their full back. Comms said the 2nd goal was classed as an OG.....poor old Smudge but the free kick should have been knocked in easily, we had 3 players on an overload.
We managed the game out ok and on to Donny.... this is 1 of our game in hand, we must take advantage of it and rub it in............UTM.

None of our current 3 main promotion rivals scored, with 2 losing, happy days.

Could pick at bits and pieces but we got the win in testing conditions. Take that all day long.

Ban the idiot who through something.

    Official statement by the club:

Rotherham United are very disappointed to have learned of an incident involving an alleged missile being thrown at an official during our Sky Bet League One encounter with Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

Having discussed the matter with colleagues at Crewe, reports suggest that a member of the away crowd has been guilty of throwing a missile towards the referee’s assistant which resulted in the affected official having to be replaced on the touchline.

The Club will now investigate the matter with the help of our colleagues at Crewe Alexandra, and will look to identify and punish the individual in question.

We are embarrassed to once again be releasing a statement regarding the behaviour of a small minority of our supporters, who are not representative of the majority, or of us as a football club.

Hit the post, across the line and off the keeper so technically the shot was off target. The post isn't on target if it then doesn't go in off of it.

Till Georgie's match fit I'd play Smith on his own up front bring Lindsay in midfield. Midfielders to get up supporting lone forward. I'm a believer in keeping what you've got in terms of league position.
