He's clearly not the right fit at Albion which happens in football , Eddie Howe wasn't the right fit at Burnley but that doesn't mean he was a poor manager is my point .
    He is a poor manager

Val is unfortunately, working under what is probably the worst regime at The Albion ever; he should have spoken to any of us before taking the job, the advice would have involved a barge pole!

I have to make the following observations:

    1. His selections are invariably questionable?
    2. His substitutions are so predictable? Always like for like, always the same time.
    3. There is no alternative strategy when things aren't working?
    4. He doesn't see that his system is not compatible with the players he's got
    5. He has made the ridiculous statement that unless he's injured his captain will always play?
    6. He has not improved any of our players? In fact most have gone backwards, especially Mowett.
    7. He persists with the same tactics and expects a different outcome?
    8. The discipline of the side is poor.
    9. His tactics are from a bygone era.
    10. These tactics may have worked at Barnsley but they sure 'ain't working here!

    Surely these are fair observations.

The before Val and after Val at my club is pretty significant evidence that he's no fool .

You've even got out former captain , backroom staff and star on loan striker and yet ........???

Your club's the problem not Val .

Can’t disagree too much with that; our club is owned by a clueless tw@t and that incompetence and couldn’t care less attitude filters down throughout the entire club.

In answer to the Barnsley sage and font of all knowledge.

This fool of a manager is a massive part of the problem, he’s got one plan and it’s a s h I t one at that given the players we have in our squad.

He’s more suited to a small club with expectations of no better than clinging on in the Championship.......he’s having a damned good stab at turning us into just that!

You’re welcome to him back......I’ll carry him up the M1 on my back if I have to.

His arrogance in sticking with this one putrid style where we can’t string two or three passes together is breathtaking.

    He’s not for us.
