Yes, definitely. I'd say some wages freed up and badly in need of strengthening while only losing one regular from the starting 11

As a major guess, I'd say Fuchs' wage is probably still free?

No idea. A job for Columbo but doubt even he would crack that case.

I've felt for quite a while that we need a smaller squad which would free up wages to have better quality players in the first 11.

Probably not that much. Fuchs, yes certainly but with the young lads I seriously doubt the clubs they've went to paying much if anything. Even Connelly and Reynolds probably had to be offered some part of their remaining wage to agree to leave. Of course we are all speculating.

I wouldn't have thought we'd have had to pay anything towards Reynolds leaving if he had a club lined up? Connolly is only on loan, so I I'm assuming half of his wage will be getting paid by Dundalk? We wouldn't have had to pay him anything. Carson similar. That has to be circa £3.5k a week, maybe more, right there? Between that and Chalmers, Smith & the young lads, that could well be Watt and Eriksson paid for? That was my thinking anyway. 🤪

Actually a really poor and soft goal to lose, Sporle was struggling to get back but Neilson should be clearing that, really poor to miss it after a positive performance from him

As for the Butch, what a guy, underrated, been great for us and hope we get him tied down for a few more years

Yip, Sporle was fcuked but couldn't come off as we'd used all our subs. Neilson had one momentary lapse of concentration where, well, fcuk know what he was actually trying to do. Completely fresh aired the header. No chance Edwards is missing that.

Neilson has just cramped up, maybe something to do with it. You get that many crosses in box something will eventually break. Mental and physical pressure on defence too. Our forward players really don’t take any pressure of defence.
