Me too, got two years for a tenner as I reckon it’ll be a slow burner. I don’t want to do anything but vote for change.

We know what CUOSC's policy is with regard to the 25.4% share of Holdings. They will only release it "out of their cold, dead hands".
What is the policy of the incoming people emanating from Unita Fortior? The current CUOSC board of management would regard the loss of 0.5% as a substantial betrayal, whereas the newcomers may well regard such loss as essential. Even a benign CUOSC owning 25.4% would put off any prospective owner of the 74.6%. The shareholding of CUOSC has to fall below 75%.

Lets all talk it through without pre determined conclusions. Laffy being on board brings financial /accounting understanding to the decision making process.

Let's reason about what can be reasoned about. As long as CUOSC has 25.4% of Holdings no new ownership will occur. If no new ownership occurs the club will gradually die, even if the Purepay and Pioneer debts are cancelled. Since May 2019 EWM > Purepay have ceased providing the club with money and PD wants Purepay to get back all of that £2.7 million now. In March 2017 EWM > Purepay had to come in because AJ had permanently ceased paying the losses that his inept ownership accrued.

At the moment there is some cash in the bank, people can speculate about the amount but this is a windfall that will not continue to increase, indeed it will substantially decrease towards zero. It must be used to pay off the anual losses in order that the club can continue to exist. But this existence by use of this money is most assuredly finite. The mere possibility of Henderson / Branthwaite moving cannot be categorised as a plan. We have to assume that no such moves will take place for quite a while, possibly after Carlisle United ceases to exist.
