Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall Courts saying we needed a target man. Biamou was brought in as a last minute, emergency signing when McNulty got injured. We wouldn't have signed him otherwise imo. Either way, Biamou was lined up to leave in the window but the deal couldn't be done in time. Maybe we'd have brought someone else in if he'd gone? We can't just go out and buy strikers at will when we already have four at the club. Courts made that clear a few days ago.

He's hereDundee United are delighted to confirm the signing of defensive-midfielder Kevin McDonald, who joins us as a free agent.
The 33-year-old began his career across Tannadice Street at Dundee, before enjoying successful spells down south with Burley, Sheffield United, Wolves and most recently Fulham.
Kevin, who returned to football in October following a kidney transplant, has also been capped five times, his last appearance coming against Albania in 2018.
Veteran McDonald has trained with the squad throughout January and is immediately available for selection for tonight’s Dundee Derby.
