not sure if we suffer from the double whammy of not creating chances and having a low conversion rate, or if it's just the misses stand out, either way we are brutal in the final third. That miss tonight was up there with McNulty's against St Mirren.

Mcnultys v St Mirren was worse imo. Ball came to him in space, he has to hit the target. If the keeper makes a save so be it.

I'd have to see Clark's again, no idea why he wanted a touch unless he was off balance. Most strikers just hit that with the right foot, it'll probably go in. Looked a bad miss on first viewing.

Sorry..but I am now in the Tam out camp. I just don't think he has the minerals to keep us up if we get dragged into a relegation battle which our form suggests we are heading towards. I wish I had the optimism of Shedka but this is squeeky bum time and I think we need a drastic change of direction. I don't think it will happen though and I hope upon hope that Shedka is right and I am just looking at this through my half empty pint. I just struggle to see any team in this league that I feel we can comfortably beat....we just aren't creating enough.

Have you looked at the win column in the division, where are all these teams who are winning regular and comfortably

Yes, and I don't really care about the overall quality of the derby tonight tbh, just glad we got something from the game, their fans were getting a excited that tonight was gonna be their night until the last 15 mins when we came on strong and began to play a bit

The fun have some good players tbf and it's not as weak a fun side as I've seen when they have been relegated before, the overall league is stronger this season

Clark should still have won us it in the end, side foot, goal, was the moment, now have a few days recovery time before Perth then it's cup away day time

There is as much chance of St Johnstone gaining 6 points on us before we get to the cup game! There is also the small matter of a game in hand to be arranged for them. If we dont show up over the next 2 games Saturday and Wednesday, its gonna be a long hard run in!

I will look at the form table and in the last 10 games..we have 5 pts and 5 goals...we are second bottom of the form table and that trajectory puts us on a slide into a relegation battle.
I don't see us changing that as we have had 0 (ZERO) shots on target in the last 180 minutes of league football.
I want to be wrong..trust me..I want to be wrong..but can you honestly say that after watching that, that we are a team that is much better than Dundee? Do you think Dundee raised their game so much that they nullified us? Is it all down to bad referees? St Johnstone, Ross County have all started picking up points recently and we are managing to get zero shots on target.

As awful as tonight was, and I do share your concern about Tam being able to drag us out of a relegation dogfight, there's no chance the Fun & the Fermers are making up 11 points on us, especially not that shower of sh!te we saw tonight. They are absolutely honking. Going by previous seasons, we're about 7 points from automatic safety. We've taken 4 points from our last 3 games. Continue that and we'll be fine. Our most recent form isn't that of relegation fodder. Prior to the break it was, absolutely.
