A dire, mind numbingly boring, seat biting, hope evaporating, 0-0.

We're at home and the match is dedicated to Colin, so a good win.

We start slowly, we go behind, the away end goes crazy.

We equalise close half time and score the winner midway through the second half

2-1 to those Stylish Magpies in front of a bumper crowd.

Guaranteed nice football for the majority. It's never dull at Meadow Lane.

There's only seven clubs we've played more times this century than Grimsby*, 22 meetings since Millenium day, 7 wins 9 defeats, we're unbeaten in the last four home clashes.

Their current run of 9 defeats in 13 is truly shocking for a team that was top, they'd only lost 1 of their opening 12 prior to that crash. They've only failed to win three games against sides below them but huge damage has been inflicted by the top 9. They still have the 3rd best home record but are way down in 17th away. As big a name as they are at this level, we really ought to be looking for three points from this one. Could well be a nervy game but I think we will scrape the win.

    1-0 to Notts

*Wycombe are the club we've met the most times this century, 29 games, followed by Chesterfield, Colchester U., Bury (RIP), Oldham Ath., Swindon Town and Yeovil Town
