I did after I posted, I dont normally refresh the screen whilst typing a msg. Great minds? That's scary.

I question we have the right number of stewards or if we do have the same amount if they are adequately trained.

Maybe it's a design fault of NYS that you can jump the boards around the ground.

Rotherham stewards were trained at millmoor. they knew safety exits etc.
ask one of these lot next home game, what are safety procedures and nearest emergency exit.. in case of a problem ,good look.

You might struggle to find a pulse in some of the stewards of today…

A lot are young students with time and just after a bit of extra money..

I once invaded the pitch during a game at Millmoor.

I was a steward at the time and my "post" was down next to the player's tunnel. It was a big game, an important game and I've always been a fan and when our player scored (what turned out to be the winner) I couldn't control my emotions and I just ran onto the pitch and gave (can't remember who it was), a big hug and was joined by the other players, ha-ha. I was told off by the chief steward at the next pre-match meeting, but we all had a good laugh about it.

No design fault, the walls are that low so those seated in the lowest row can comfortably watch a game.
