I watched some of the Arbroath v Killie game on Friday night and got to say that although not the highest standard in the world, Arbroath were decent going forward and played really well. They were entertaining and moved the ball forward quickly that stretched the Killie defence a number of times.

We as Utd supporters do not expect the most technical football in the world but we want to get some sort of entertainment from watching our team. We are mind numbing to watch and could still be playing for hours and would not have scored yesterday and no doubt will get 90 minutes more of the same fare on Wednesday as do not see what can be changed.

I watched that too. Need to say though, Arbroath never worked the Killie keeper much and their goal was a total shambles from him...

What made this worse was the fact it was against 10 men! It was exactly the same scenario when Livi went down to 10 in the midweek away fixture a few months back. Freeman had acres of space to bomb forward in that game but would always cut back and give it to Mulgrew or Edwards. It wasn't until Chalmers came on that we looked positive and I do think it was a mistake letting him go on loan as we miss his impact as a sub because at least he gets the ball in the box.

Maybe we should create a new league - The Impact Sub League. We'd do well in that.

Tam seems to think when a team goes down to ten men against us its a huge disadvantage,he said as much yesterday and i'm sure it was mentioned post match v Livi as well.

In a round about way he is saying we never looked like scoring in an open 11 v11 game so how can anyone expect us to score v 10 men sitting in and defending for their lives?.

Only decent thing for me yesterday was the steak and chorizo peh at half time, very tasty and not burnt to a crisp like the fare we get served at Tannadice
