Is it 3? I know we didn't against Dundee or Celtc but we definitely did on Saturday (regardless of how ****e they were).

We signed the league's top scorer but he hasn't scored yet (I hear you muttering he's saving his 1st for Well and I hope he does)

My points are perceived by you as negative but they are fact. A lot of fans rightly don't like it and are entitled to their opinions
Yeah but folk pick out statistics that back how they feel about the team. You've done it there with the home results for instance.

I just realised it wasn't correct although as you say the shots on target Saturday weren't great, so much so that I forgot them

Yeah the best effort was actually slightly off target when Watt hit the post with the keeper beaten. Good move in the built up too.

I think 'frustrated' is the best way to describe the fans at the moment. We aren't getting enough attempts at goal and are struggling in the final third. We were the same last season and it feels like we have tried to address it it ain't working. This has been evident for months and we didn't address it in the January transfer window. This has left the fans 'frustrated' and will continue to do so until we start fixing this problem. We haven't brought in the type of player that we need and now need to try and fix it through tactical changes....and Tam is struggling to do that. The transfer window has left most feeling like the team have actually been weakend which is obviously going to cause concerns. We now have to p#ss with the boaby we have got. My suggestion would be to either get in a cracking free agent (very difficult) orwe get someone in on the coaching side of things that can help out and mentor Tam. I think our league position is a damning but of evidence on how crap our league actually is!

yes we had 2 trundlers on Saturday. I see Watt as the man to get us out of this. He was very vocal about tippy tippy football being useless. We should have enough to survive this season prob 7th get a no9 (like the dutch bloke at Motherwell), bit of speed (like rc guy), playmaker (McDonald could be that man). We can't afford either Van Veen or RCC but there must be loads of similar types, hard workers, direct.

Im prepared to accept Tam is learning. As long as he addresses this. Akinola was taken off because booth was ripping him a new one. But he is exactly what we need. I would play him as a wide player tbh and not DM - he was very good in tight spots - which is good because every ball he got was like a hospital pass waiting to happen. Why do we have such a lack of ability to stretch teams and play this short passing game when it invites danger?

we have had bad luck with injuries and covid etc we have come out with 2 0-0 draws and a cup win. that's positive really but its eye bleeding.

Graham is a real plus, Neilson I like too (others don't) and we just sold Smith so we are developing some good defenders (all seem to have had the weetabix too). Hearing the keeper is outstanding in training but that siegrist is actually serious about signing a new contract as well. Freeman out for season possibly, but smith played well and is very capable there although not as good at crossing he still gets up the park.

    Siegrist
    Smith Edwards Mulgrew/Graham McMann

    McDonald Butch Levitt

    Akinola Niskanen

    Watt

I would like to see this line up - tbh id have the 16 year old start up front next game but that won't happen. Clark should never start and despite every game thinking he will turn good Mcnulty has something wrong in his head.

I look at the overall picture TTT, but yes accept you pointing out.

On the whole the standard has been poor since start of Oct but us fans would accept this if we were winning, we're not so Tam needs to start getting this team to take 3 points in crunch league games, this will determine whether we are safe and challenging for top 6 or we drop to 10th where a few further bad results against bottom 2 will really make it squeaky bum time.
I would never have thought after our start to the season that myself and others are concerned it could be the latter, but this is where we are.
It means the Well game is a must win or Tam will feel the wrath.

I'd argue we've played the same all season but at the start we were getting one nil wins so folk were happy. Shedka is right about there being mitigating circumstances around the defence beginning to concede goals but that seems to have been addressed lately so, hopefully, we can get back to winning some matches.

Results have started getting better (they couldn't have got any worse to be fair) so fingers crossed we get back to the way we were at the start of the season.

Failed to work the goalkeeper would probably be more accurate then. I am prepared to concede though that if we somehow win on Wednesday and again on Saturday then my outlook will completely change and my shed shades will be firmly back in place

If I look at my expectations at start of season - we are well above what I expected despite a terrible run. I have decided I don't like modern coaches. yup technical and in depth but too much in my opinion. we didn't beat Aberdeen 3-0 by thinking too much and playing tippy tippy, Celtic didn't win 3-0 against Hvns doing that and the great survivors of past years Hamilton, ict, rc, Motherwell, st mirren - do not play like that.

    We shouldn't either.
