Also note the link above between corporal punishment and criminal and anti social behaviour. Not saying kids dont need keeping in check to some degree but I dont believe that is the way. Personally i also think that it teaches kids violence solves probs. I'm not sure if i want my kids grand kids etc to grow up thinking that do you?
